What is iContacts?
iContacts is an address book manager with synchronization to iCloud/CardDAV and local offline cache.

Set Up iCloud
1 Settings > Accounts > "Add Account"
2 Select "iCloud"
3 Enter Apple ID
4 Important: Create an app-specific password at appleid.apple.com
5 Enter the app password (not your normal password)
Security: Apple strictly requires app-specific passwords for CardDAV access.
Import vCard
- File > Import > vCard
- Select .vcf file
- Select destination (local or synchronized account)
- Duplicates will be detected and reported
Birthday Calendar
- View > Enable Birthday Calendar
- Automatically displays all birthdays from contacts
- Reminder settings: Days before, time
- Windows notifications can be enabled
Troubleshooting

| "Authentication failed" |
Use an app-specific password, not the regular Apple password |
| Contacts not synchronizing |
Check internet connection. Disable and re-enable the account |
| vCard import failed |
Check format (Version 3.0 or 4.0). If problems: Import contacts to Windows first |
| Birthdays not displayed |
Check if birth date is entered in the contact (not just notes) |
