What is iCalendar?
iCalendar is a local calendar with iCloud/CalDAV synchronization, recurring appointments, and German holidays. Developed with PySide6.

Requirements & Limitations:
- Standard vs. Pro scope: see the Microsoft Store and in-app prompts.
- No Google Calendar support
- No Outlook.com support
- Only iCloud and CalDAV-compatible servers
- Offline use: only as permitted by your installed build (see app messages).

Installation
1 Download iCalendar.
2 Run the setup.
3 Start iCalendar.
4 Follow the license or Store prompts shown by your installed build.
Set Up iCloud
1 Open Settings.
2 Select "iCloud" as provider.
3 Enter your Apple ID.
4 Create an app-specific password at appleid.apple.com.
5 Enter the app password (not your normal password).
6 Select the calendar to synchronize.
Create Appointment
1 Double-click on a day in the month view.
2 Or click the "New Appointment" button.
3 Enter title, start and end time.
4 Select a category (Important, To-Do, Private, etc.).
5 Optionally add notes and location.
6 Save the appointment.
Recurring Appointments
1 Create a new appointment.
2 Enable "Repeat".
3 Select frequency: Daily, Weekly, Monthly, or Yearly.
4 Optionally enter an end date.
5 Save - all occurrences will be created.
German Holidays
1 Holidays are calculated automatically.
2 Based on the Easter date.
3 Includes: New Year, Good Friday, Easter Monday, Labor Day, Ascension Day, Pentecost Monday, German Unity Day, Christmas Days.
Printing
1 Click the printer icon in the toolbar.
2 Select view: Month or Year.
3 A preview is displayed.
4 Click "Print".
Troubleshooting

Check the Microsoft Store for a Pro unlock and follow the messages shown in the app. |
| Synchronization failed |
Check Apple ID and app password. Make sure CalDAV is enabled in iCloud. |

Follow the guidance for your installed build; you may need internet for Store validation. |
| Appointments not displayed |
Check category filters. Make sure the correct calendar is selected. |
